Writers block.

I have started and stopped a number of times in the last few weeks. I feel that my ability to form thoughts and put them on a page for this site comes and goes periodically. I could probably force it and send out something once per week like I am supposed to but I don't really see how that helps anyone. Instead I just wanted to share the projects I have been working on behind the scenes.

The first is Villains. You have probably seen it but in case you missed it, last month I released a video talking about the Myths & Magic arc. This was a relatively straight forward video to put together that required sourcing old footage and re watching a bunch of talks that Tarn has done over the years. I then compiled them into a short video explaining what has been proposed as a feature set for magic in Dwarf Fortress. I want to make another video like this but covering the Villains update cycle. That video is mostly scripted. I still have to record my audio and edit it. Then assemble the video itself.

After that is whaling. I built a fortress called "Squidward" all the vods can be found on the extras channel. In that fort we set out to find deep ocean creatures and catch some giant whales. That'll be a video in itself. I have a good amount of voice work done but I have been in a creative slump with actually assembling the footage. It should be done sooner than later but not until I am happy with it.

Lastly is a follow up to my video covering mermaids. This weekend I spent a good chunk of time combing through old posts on the Something Awful Forums and the Bay12 Forums looking for old posts that would be interesting and worth reading for a video. I have decided on Sea Serpent farming since it is a direct follow up to mermaids. I have filmed the new video and sent all the screen shots and details to my editor. We should see something from that soon assuming there is nothing else I need to record for it. If you have any feed back for the new format please let me know under this post.

Thank you for reading this short writers block update. Thank you for the support.
